“ I don’t remember what I got but I’m sure it was the Philly cheese steak pizza. That’s my usual order and they have endless varieties. Every time I go I try to order something different. I recently learned you can get a different specialty pizza on either half so I’m sure the ones I have tried will expand. “ In my many years of trying various Carbondale pizzas, I've got to say Primos is the best. Name another place around that offers Calzones? I've never been disappointed here, honestly I think the customer service they offer is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back. Once I asked for a square cut pizza, and they forgot to do that. No big deal in my book, it's the same pizza I wanted, no wrong toppings or anything just cut a little different. I wouldn't have complained at all but they made me a whole nother pizza that was square cut and let me keep the other one that was triangles. They go out of their way to make sure they can make their customers satisfied and happy. Their food is delicious, nothing rivals the chicken bacon ranch calzone. And sometimes they have cool challenges! Check em out! ”
“ Primo's is an independent pizza shop in Carbondale, Illinois. I prefer their thin crust "tavern style " pizza. Their original crust slices are tasty, but often, the cheese slides off the slice. As a person who grew up in NYC, I like a foldable slice. If the crust on the original crust slices were a little crisper, that pizza would be excellent. They do sell single slices at lunchtime, which is not common in town. ”
“ First time ordering this pizza last week and for a couple that always orders from Pags, we were pleasantly surprised with the pizza from Primo's! We ordered on a Saturday but earlier in the evening – staff were polite and the ingredients on the pizza we ordered tasted fresh! We got a large deep pan pizza which was a nice combination of crisp and chewy crust! We enjoyed the calzone as well. Overall, looking forward to trying more from this place! ”
